What age of driver can hire your cars?

All drivers must be between the ages of 23 and 75, the cars have different age restrictions set by our insurer. Please visit the relevant car page on our website for the specific age restrictions on the car you are interested in hiring.

Is insurance included?

A Fully Comprehensive insurance package is included in our hire fee per car.

Can the hire be shared between drivers?

Yes but they MUST be added to the insurance as well which we can do for a small fee, by bringing their card and paper licenses at the time of hire or in advance. Strictly no other person may drive the car as they will not be insured.

Can I take the car out of the UK?

Our cars must be kept within the UK, except by prior arrangement – please enquire about trips to Europe.

Do I have to pay for the fuel?

Yes you pay for the fuel you use. The car will be provided with a full tank of fuel, and should be returned with a full tank.

What do I need to bring with me?

You will need to bring your card and paper licence, a second form of identification (utility bill, passport etc.), funds for the hire cost and deposit, licence documents for any additional drivers, and any extras you might need, such as your own Sat Nav, and sunglasses/cap for the Caterham 7. Please arrive in advance of your APPOINTMENT TIME, if you are late you may have to wait until all other bookings have left.

What happens if I am late returning the car?

Returning the car late will incur a cost of £30 per half hour, as it may delay the hire for the next customer.

Am I allowed to smoke in the car?

Smoking in the cars is not allowed.

Can I leave my car at your premises?

You can leave your car at our securely-fenced premises for the duration of your hire. We also offer a professional valeting and polishing service!

Why do I have to pay a deposit?

The pre-authorised deposit is held against any damage incurred on the car during the hire, but it does not leave your own bank account, and it will be released by us through the card machine and further receipt given on the day you return the car if there is no damage.

Can I hire for longer than a week?

Hires for longer than a week can be organised, often at discounted prices. Please enquire for further information.
